Shailene Woodley did not look like her usual self on Wednesday.
The actress wore her hair in a messy up-do and had on mismatched attire as she was seen in character on the set of Three Women in the New York suburb of Hudson Valley.
Also on set for the hourlong series coming to Showtime was her costar Betty Gilpin. The project is based on the 2019 nonfiction book of the same name by Lisa Taddeo.

Shailene wore a long, wool coat with front pockets as she worked.
Embodying her character Gia, a writer who encourages three women to share their stories of sexual longing, the Big Little Lies actress had on black pants and white high-top Converse Chuck Taylors.
Under the outerwear the star wore a white crewneck t-shirt with a navy blue collar.
The longtime performer wore her wavy, blonde highlighted mop of hair in a high, messy bun with pieces left out in front.

Woodley carried a yellow tote with blue lettering over her shoulder.
For her part, costar Betty Gilpin was dressed in light blue skinny jeans and a blue and white patterned blouse.
The outfit was topped with a brown jacket, which the actress wore unzipped. Gilpin wore her hair in a ponytail as she took on the role of Lina, a housewife in Indiana who has an affair that upends her life.
The scenes were filmed outside and remnants of snow were on the ground from recent wintry weather.

‘They are not talking about their politics, and they never really have,’ an insider told the site.
The duo began dating during the COVID-19 pandemic and confirmed their engagement in February 2021.
